Nussbaum is seeking an energetic IT Product Manager with a strong passion for engaging people and problems in a meaningful way and an innate desire to improve our company’s unique suite of programs. We’re excited to expand the potential of our Innovation Team by adding an individual who shares our mindset of continuous improvement.
In this role, you will leverage a wide variety of tools including Jira Product Discovery (JPD), Atlas, Jira, Confluence, and Nussbaum Applications to help discover, prioritize, and implement the most impactful opportunities. Initially, you will focus on learning about the departments you serve: how they operate, and especially the problems they currently experience. Then, you will shift into 1) how to constantly apply multi-layer, decision-oriented business logic to prioritize potential work; 2) learning the IT workflow to integrate with the developer team; and 3) growing a practical understanding of Nussbaum’s operational core metrics. Our ideal candidate is energized by the challenge of dissecting problems to determine the best outcome for Nussbaum. Core responsibilities include:
- Conduct research, gather user feedback, and analyze data to identify opportunities and make informed product decisions.
- Communicate with stakeholders about the highest priorities and what throughput is available.
- Build detailed requirements and prototypes for the developer team(s) you serve.
- Prioritize work for the developer team(s) you serve.
- Implement changes and ensure ongoing performance and success in your areas.
- Manage a backlog of work for the development team(s) you serve.
- Be a product evangelist to teams, stakeholders, and customers.
Schedule
- Full time: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
- Location: Corporate Offices – 19336 N 1425 East Rd., Hudson IL.
