Now, for those job details:

We’re seeking Trailer Technicians to join our maintenance shop in Hudson, Illinois! (Just up the road from Bloomington-Normal). In this role, you’ll perform repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet equipment (primarily trailers). Our ideal candidate has a safety-first mindset, strong organizational skills, and possesses either a Diesel Technician Degree or 1+ years of experience. No experience? We offer on-the-job technician training! Come jumpstart your career at Nussbaum.

Your duties include:

• Complete repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Nussbaum shop and warranty standards.
• Maintain fleet equipment via Preventative Maintenance.
• Diagnose/troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Diagnose/repair brakes, wheel-ends, A/C, and suspensions.
• Install and service third-party equipment add-ons.
• Accurately log work within our maintenance software.
• Document diagnostic steps and corrective actions implemented.
• Be willing to continually learn as equipment technologies change.

Schedule

• Full-time positions.
• Tuesday-Friday, 2 pm – 12:30 am (second shift).
• Differential in place for second shift.
• Location: Nussbaum Shop – 19336 N 1425 East Rd., Hudson, IL 61748.

Technician-Specific Benefits

• Quarterly tool allowance – $200.
