What is an ESOP?
An ESOP is an Employee Stock Ownership Plan that provides a company’s workforce with an ownership interest in the company.
When am I eligible to enter the ESOP?
1) Work at Nussbaum for 12 months
2) Receive at least 23 paychecks
3) Be at least 18 years old
How much company stock will I receive?
The value of stock allocated to you is based on a percentage of your wages and can vary from year to year. On average, it will be about 6% of your wages.
What is vesting?
Vesting is the portion of your account that belongs to you and cannot be forfeited. Each year you work at Nussbaum, you become more vested in your ESOP account. Vesting is measured from your hire date.
When am I fully vested in the ESOP?
After 6 years of employment where you have collected at least 23 paychecks. See vesting table below.
